Willis and Gambier Etienne Grey Eight Drawer Chest

This eight drawer Etienne chest of drawers has a rather unique look with the central large drawer but it still provides lots of useful storage space inside. The grey painted finish is "rubbed-off" in places to leave a distressed effect that is then lacquered over to make it durable for everyday living. The base plinth has carved motifs on the front stretcher bar and legs to give it the looks of a classic french furniture range from the late 17th or 18th century.  All drawers are dovetail jointed and there are antique petwer handles too.
