The G Plan Laurie snuggler with a manual reclining action has a wider seat area than a chair. It has been designed to offer all round comfort whilst still having dazzling modern looks and sleek contemporary lines.
The full length arm pads curve inwards to the seat following the inverted lines of the frame below, whilst the tall back cushion provides high neck & shoulder support with pleated and defined panelled upholstery work below. The seat has a sprung platform with resilient foam above which provides good support without being overly firm.
The recliner action is easy to use by releasing the foot plate using a
catch on the outside of the arm allowing it to raise up behind the
seated persons legs. Once the footplate is up if required the back can
also be lowered by pushing backwards into the inside back area. A return
to sitting position is easily achieved by sitting forwards in the seat
and then sweeping the footplate closed with the back of the legs.
