Made by G Plan this is the Laurie design manual recliner chair. It carries all the hallmarks of G Plan design from the pleated back cushion, high supportive neck & head cushion with deep fibre interiors and the full depth well filled arm pads. The seat is deep and filled with resilient foam interiors which sit on a sprung platform base.
The recliner action is easy to use by releasing the foot plate using a catch on the outside of the arm allowing it to raise up behind the seated persons legs. Once the footplate is up if required the back can also be lowered by pushing backwards into the inside back area. A return to sitting position is easily achieved by sitting forwards in the seat and then sweeping the footplate closed with the back of the legs.
