The Balmoral collection of cabinet, living and dining furniture is made by Laura Ashley. It is constructed from solid birch and selected birch real wood veneers in two colours called Honey & Chestnut. There is a wide array of pieces available including bookcases, tv entertainment units, coffee & side tables as well as chests of drawers, sideboards and dining tables & chairs.
All the items in the collection are unique & individual via the natural wood grain colour variations that they each have and throughout the range you'll find brass effect handles and fittings. This collection draws much of it's inspiration from historical furniture designs that could typically be seen in large country houses but mixed with todays needs for practical uses in the modern home. The cross strutt design featured in many peices is a perfect example of this, as is the soft hand applied patina giving a gentle aged effect to the dark chestnut shaded items.
