The wood colour has a white look about it with the grain of the ash timber still showing through. This contemporary look is because Ercol furniture use a white wash on the wood and then a clear lacquer finish over the top. Standing on neat legs with a shaped inside edge and with neat wooden handles this chest of drawers offers some much storage without looking to bulky and intrusive. The top of the chest has a tray effect created by the lipped along all four sides, and all drawers are dovetailed.
